It was a successful and pleasant morning with the rain holding off until we were packing up. We took the tent awning from the locker, and several firefighters had it up in about 5 minutes. They also helped to carry everything from the truck so it was an easy set up. Laurie counted over 30 "serious engagements" with adults at the booth, and the children's table was popular as always. We even provided chairs for tired mothers. On leaving, one woman said "You are such friendly people", and, as I was standing under the Friends' sign, I figured she meant all of us. Positive public regard is a good outcome.
