Notice of Annual General Meeting
Please mark your calendar and plan to take part in your association’s
Annual General Meeting – which will take place
on Thursday, January 29th, 2009, at 3:00pm.
At the Dufferin Square Boardroom, Room 202, 105 Dufferin Street, Perth[1]
Please join the Board of Directors prior to the meeting (2:30pm) for coffee.
Come and discuss:
o the association’s 2008 program review
o plans to develop the 2009 program
o financial results for 2008 and preliminary budget for 2009.
And vote on the financial statements and the new slate for your Board of Directors for 2009.
The AGM will also feature a short presentation, the subject of which will be advised shortly.
This meeting is open to association members as well as the general public. Members who have paid 2008 or 2009 dues as of the date of the meeting may vote (see attached membership form). The annual fee is $10.00 for individuals and families.
According to our by-laws, members may also vote by proxy, by providing a representative with a signed letter, designating the representative, who must also be a paid association member, and stating the manner in which the member wishes to vote on a given question.
The Board welcomes your participation in the AGM – and your interest in becoming involved as a volunteer.
