Notice of Annual General Meeting, January 29, 2008
Please mark your calendar and plan to take part in your association’s
Annual General Meeting – which will take place
on Tuesday, January 29th, 2008, at 3:00pm.
At the Dufferin Square Boardroom, Room 202, 105 Dufferin Street, Perth[1]
Please join the Board of Directors prior to the meeting (2:30pm) for coffee.
Come and find out:
o What did the association’s 2007 activities do for you?
o What new initiatives are the Board of Directors proposing for 2008?
o How did association fare financially in 2007 – where are we headed for 2008?
And meet the new slate for your Board of Directors for 2008.
This year the AGM will also feature a presentation on “What Source Water Protection Means for the Tay Watershed” by Sommer Casgrain-Robertson, Communications Specialist, Source water Protection Committee.
This meeting is open to association members as well as the general public. Members who have paid 2007 or 2008 dues as of the date of the meeting may vote (see attached membership form). The annual fee is $10.00 for individuals and families.
Members may also vote by proxy, by providing a representative with a signed letter, designating the representative, who must also be a paid association member, and stating the manner in which the member wishes to vote on a given question.
The Board welcomes your participation in the AGM – and your interest in becoming involved as a volunteer.
